With the support of the Nippon Foundation and JACAFA Foundation, The Eurasia Scholarship Program is accepting applications from full-time undergraduate university students in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia for the 2023-2025 academic years.
The scholarship is for up to two years and provides USD 110 per month to be used for the successful completion of studies and academic activities. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria related to academic record, language qualifications, citizenship, age, enrollment status, and field of study. Selection criteria include academic performance, character, communication skills, and future professional vision.
Application documents include a current student identification, passport copy, university transcript, application form, essay, and two recommendation letters. The selection process includes three stages and an interview, and results will be sent via email.
Scholarship recipients may be invited to attend JACAFA Foundation events and will be eligible to apply for the JACAFA Foundation Japan Visit Program. The grantee is expected to participate in all meetings and events organized by JACAFA Foundation, and failure to comply may result in the suspension or cancellation of the scholarship.
