Bio
Mr. Nemuun Gal is a Vice-Principal at Hobby School of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's original private English-Mongolian bilingual school. He guides high school students on their path to college, from major research universities such as Columbia, MIT, and Stanford to elite liberal arts colleges. As a debate coach, he led the first Mongolian national team to break at the World Schools Debating Championship in 2021, and two consecutive Elite Eight teams at NYU's Public Policy Forum, a global written debate competition. Most recently, his team reached the semifinals at the Eurasian Schools Debating Championship 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.

Prior to becoming a full-time educator, Nemuun was a lawyer by profession, specializing in deal structuring, general contracts, and regulatory framework advice, and he closed several multi-million dollar deals. He also worked as a diplomat with the United Nations. Nemuun is a graduate of Columbia Law School's LLM program, class of '09, and is admitted to the New York Bar. He is also a Rumsfeld Fellow.
